Shasta “McNasty” McMurry Competes to Win in 2017

Does your coach practice what they preach? Legacy MMA and Fitness coaches do!  They are constantly inspiring us to set goals and push harder.  Shasta “McNasty” McMurry is no different, her goal this year? 10 Jiu Jitsu competitions.  


Shasta has kicked off 2017 by practicing what she preaches, spending hours perfecting her Jiu Jitsu technique.  At 25, McMurry is a well rounded fitness professional.  She has earned a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, competes in MMA, has several certifications in strength and conditioning and is halfway through her degree in Health and Wellness at ASU.  She knows all to well the dedication it takes to smash your goals.  

Lets support Shasta in her first Jiu Jitsu competition this year, Saturday February 4th at Westworld in Scottsdale, Az.

“The Golden Boy” does Vegas 2017

Goals are set and the bar is getting higher and higher!  2017 is off to a great start here at Legacy MMA and Fitness.  

Our local Muay Thai guru, Nick “The Golden Boy” Chasteen is kicking it off Friday February 3 in Las Vegas.

This badass holds an amateur record of 21-4 and nine amateur titles.  As the first amateur fighter to be signed with Lions Fight promotions, he set the bar high turning Pro that same year. nick

With a pro record of 6-3, he will prove once again he is still “The Golden Boy” by fighting Peruvian sensation Gabriel “El Nino” Mazzetti at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.

As he prepares for weigh-ins this week show him some high five love! BOOM!

 The Lion Fight 34 main card will air live on AXS TV Fights with a start time of 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. with commentary from renowned duo “The Voice” Michael Schiavello and UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich.
